Hermes Agent — Personal Google Integration

Purpose and scope

This privately operated integration helps authorised users perform personal tasks with Google services. This policy covers Google user data accessed by the integration and the associated assistant workflow. It does not replace Google's or the relevant service providers' own privacy policies.

Information accessed

Depending on the permissions granted and the task requested, the integration may access Gmail messages and metadata; calendar events; Drive files and metadata; contacts; and Google Docs and Sheets content. The current authorisation may include reading, creating, modifying or sending data in these services. Granting permission does not mean every item is retrieved or used for every task.

How information is used

Information is used to fulfil authorised requests, such as summarising messages, managing appointments, organising files and creating documents. OAuth credentials are used to authenticate API requests and renew access where supported.

AI processing and service providers

Information relevant to a task may be sent to the configured AI/model API providers, communication platforms and supporting service providers needed to process the request and return its result. Processing is therefore not necessarily local. Provider selection and provider-side retention depend on the configured services and their applicable terms. Users should avoid requesting processing of information they do not want shared with these services. The operator does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising.

Storage and protection

Credentials are stored in access-restricted locations on the operator's server and are not published on this website. Task data may be retained in assistant conversation history, local files, operational logs or backups as needed for the workflow and troubleshooting. This integration does not claim end-to-end encryption or a universal fixed deletion period across all providers. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Retention and deletion

Data is retained as needed for authorised tasks, ongoing records and operational recovery. To request deletion of integration-held data, contact the operator and identify the records concerned without sending passwords or tokens. The operator will address requests within the storage and access it controls; backups and external providers may follow separate retention schedules. Deletion of local integration records does not automatically delete original Google files or messages.

Control and revocation

You may revoke this integration's access through Google Account connections. Revocation prevents future access through the revoked credentials but does not automatically remove previously stored data. Contact the operator for deletion requests. Existing Google records will not be deleted merely because authorisation is revoked.
